Founded in 2005 by Tim Mondavi and his sister Marcia Mondavi, the estate carries forward one of California’s most distinguished winemaking legacies.

Estate and terroir

The grapes are sourced from Sage Mountain Vineyard, situated at 1,300 to 1,600 feet above the Napa Valley floor. Steep, iron-rich volcanic soils provide exceptional drainage and naturally low yields, encouraging deep root systems and producing grapes of remarkable concentration. The elevated site benefits from warm California sunshine and cool mountain breezes, creating wines with depth, structure, freshness and balance.

Wine profile

Continuum combines the power and structure of Cabernet Sauvignon with the aromatic complexity of Cabernet Franc, complemented by Merlot and Petit Verdot.

The wine reveals layers of black plum, cassis, black cherry, rose petal, violet and mountain sage, framed by earthy volcanic minerality. On the palate, silky, velvety tannins support a beautifully balanced, medium to full bodied structure, with vibrant freshness and an exceptionally long finish.

A wine of distinction, complexity and remarkable aging potential.
